We’ve been installing kitchens since 2001 so we know all aspects of what is involved in fitting and installing kitchen appliances, worktops, plumbing and electrics.
Once the kitchen is removed and placed in a safe manner outside. we check the cad drawing to start laying out all the kitchen units marking it out on the walls for the locations. Then we start marking out for power points including any extra power points to be installed. If you having new low volt ceiling lights, holes are cut to run the cables and the ceiling is made good ready for plastering.
Plumbing : We look for for the best route to take hot and cold water to the sink and plumbed appliances ensuring it doesn't interfere with the inside of the base unit. Every base unit has a back on it to conceal as much as possible.
We that if you have a range cooker and the gas meter is more than 10 meters away it will need a 22 mm pipe from the meter to ensure that all gas burners will not have a weak flame or go out.. We would also contact your boiler company to find out if or how much space is needed to conceal or make it look like an other wall unit so no unsightly old boiler on show.
If your rising main is in an awkward place we would relocate it under the sink.
Kitchens come assembled or flat packed. When assembling the units up we would secure them together hiding all fixings and cutting around pipe work and cabling, installing power points in base and wall units for ovens and hobs. Worktops are then fitted including sink oven and hob.
Tiling : Purchase your own wall or floor tiles or we can supply them and include the cost in your quote. We prefer to use bucket glue for walls and powder glue for the floor. Again we can include this in your quote should you wish us to supply.
